Domestic Roofing

We Use Only The Best Materials

Collins Roofing work on all types of domestic roofing, regardless of size. We can work with people building new homes, or even those looking to reroof their existing home. Our team work with architects to come up with a roof that has all the features you want, as well as ensuring we are within your budget range. Often our clients need roofing work carried when building extensions onto their homes. We ensure that the new roof fits in with the decor of the existing roof. Our aim is to have the new roof look as natural as possible.

There are many different types of roofs you can choose from, depending on the aesthetics and of course usage. Have a look through some of our most common types below. If you have any queries, please do get in touch.

Flat Roofing

We are flat roofing specialists. Although they are called "flat roofs" - all of these have a slight slope, which allows for adequate drainage. Flat roofs work really well in areas where you wish to make use of the space on your roof - as a rooftop terrace for example. We can discuss how you intend to use your roof and advise on the best materials.

Hip Roofs

A hip roof is where all the sides of the house slope downward. You will see this style in many different homes all across Ireland. Again, you can choose from a variety of slates / tiles with hip roofs.

Gable Roofs

A gable roof is more triangular in shape and simply comes down on two sides. The degree of the slope can vary, depending on the size of the house. Again, it is a common shape for roofs in Ireland.

Roof Pitch Conversion

Have you a flat roof you want changed to a pitched roof? Often we find that our clients want to have a flat roof converted. This can be for a number of reason, aesthetics, improved drainage, or even to get some extra attic space. Whatever the reason, our experts are on hand to get the job done.

Skylights

Skylights can add a great sense of space to a room, opening it up with natural light. At Collins roofing, we can incorporate skylights into the design of your new / converted roof. We can install as many or as few as required, in a whole range of sizes.

Insulation

At Collins Roofing, our team can also add insulation when installing your roof. Insulation keeps the heat where you want it - inside your home! So much heat is lost through the roof, proper insulation can help you to save a lot of money on your heating bill.
